"Refuse/Resist": a moto that I embraced for much of my life; applied to various circumstances that a rebellious young man encounters in life. But, in this political climate, it takes on a whole new meaning for myself and many others.
Woodie Guthrie, the great folk singer/songwriter who inspired generations and individuals such as Bob Dylan (whom this business is named after) famously wrote on his acoustic guitar "This Machine Kills Fascists". This image has become iconic, and applicable to many situations we have come across as a society in the last 50+ years. In this case, I felt it needed and update: one, so to not "rip-off" Woodie's iconic image, and two, because I love the Gibson Explorer. And its true; whether an old tenor acoustic, a Gibson, artistic imagery, or the mighty pen...these art forms kill Fascists.
No matter how you feel about politics today, most know that there are major changes happening, whether you feel they are good, or bad. Represent those feelings, educate yourselves, and stand for what you believe.
